Piere Iskandar is a Clinical Social Worker with 6 years of experience treating anxiety, depression, PTSD, and trauma. Originally from Egypt, Piere specializes in helping individuals manage overwhelming emotions, develop coping skills, and move forward with confidence. With a compassionate and evidence-based approach, he creates a safe space for growth, insight, and meaningful change.
Piere has a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Denver. He takes a person-centered approach to his work and integrates cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and motivational interviewing to support clients through life’s challenges. Her background includes medical social work, crisis intervention, and clinical supervision. She teaches and mentors future social workers through her work with the University of Denver Graduate School of Social Work, which keeps her grounded in the values of ethical practice, collaboration, and authentic connection. She also serves in a broader educator role with DU GSSW, supporting developing clinicians in clinical reasoning, assessment, and integrated behavioral health.
