Amanda Comer is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in North Carolina with 8 years of experience in the mental health field. She is passionate about helping adults and older adolescents address life challenges and lead healthy and fulfilling lives. She focuses on Trauma/PTSD, Anxiety, Depression, Anger, Bipolar Disorder, Stress, and Life Transitions.

Amanda completed her Master of Social Work (MSW) at Simmons University and has professional experience in hospitals and private therapy settings. Her approach is strength-based and compassionate in her work with clients. Amanda is trained in eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), which is highly effective in treating and resolving trauma. She also utilizes multiple treatment modalities including mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing (MI), person-centered therapy (PCT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and solutions-focused therapy (SFT).
