About
As a bilingual therapist with over five years of experience working with teens and young adults, I create a supportive, practical space where we can understand what’s holding you back and build the tools you need to move forward—on and off the field.
I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) with a master's degree in clinical counseling and over 5 years of experience in the mental health field, including the past four years providing direct therapy. I have extensive experience working with teens and young adults, supporting them through a range of emotional and behavioral challenges while providing a supportive space for growth and healing. My approach is client-centered, practical, and goal-oriented. I integrate principles from therapy, sports psychology, and coaching to help clients build resilience, improve emotional regulation, and develop meaningful, lasting change.
I am bilingual in English and Spanish, which allows me to effectively support a diverse client population and provide culturally responsive care. Originally from Venezuela, I moved to St. Louis at the age of 16. I have also traveled to over 20 countries, shaping my cultural awareness and ability to connect with clients from a wide range of backgrounds.
At 32, I bring both clinical training and real-world perspective to my work, helping clients move forward with clarity, confidence, and purpose.

I believe that healing begins with a safe, collaborative space where you feel truly heard, and I use my five years of experience to help you navigate life's transitions with practical tools and authentic support.
I am Tabytha BoykinGuffey, a licensed clinical therapist with over a decade of experience in the behavioral health field. I earned my Master of Education in Counseling and Development from Lamar University and have spent my career helping individuals find their footing through various life challenges. I typically work with adults facing major life transitions, professional burnout, or persistent struggles with anxiety and depression. My clients are often looking for a way to regain their sense of agency and are motivated to achieve goals of emotional stability, personal resilience, and a more authentic, fulfilling daily life.
I utilize an integrative approach rooted in cognitive behavioral therapy and person-centered techniques to help you identify and shift the patterns that keep you stuck. When working with me, you can expect empathetic listening and practical, goal-oriented strategies. My focus is on empowering you to build resilience and foster a clearer sense of self.
Taking the first step toward change can feel overwhelming, but you don't have to navigate it alone. I am here to provide a supportive space where your story is honored and your growth is the priority. When you feel ready to begin this journey of healing and resilience, I invite you to reach out and schedule your first session.

Hello, I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW). I work with clients struggling with trauma, PTSD, depression, anxiety, and sexual or domestic violence. Many of my clients struggle with low self-worth, guilt and shame, always putting others before their needs, and feeling unheard and undervalued.
I use a person-centered, trauma-informed approach, providing a collaborative, warm, nonjudgmental space. I believe the relationship between therapist and client is the most powerful tool for change. Alongside this approach, I use cognitive behavioral therapy and EMDR.
It can be difficult to take that first step and reach out, but each step can bring you closer to reaching your goals and becoming your best self. I feel honored to be part of your healing journey.

My goal when working with clients is to create a space where they feel safe, heard and supported as we work through their story.
Hi! My name is Keana and I have worked in the mental health field since 2012. I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Missouri, and I have a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Tennessee State University and a Master of Science from Lipscomb University in Nashville, TN. I have devoted the past 11 years of my career to working almost exclusively with survivors of domestic violence, intimate partner violence, sexual violence, and PTSD, and I have experience working in community mental health, both outpatient and IOP.
I support my clients by providing them with a physically and emotionally safe space to exist and unpack their story. In early treatment sessions, I focus my attention on getting to know them as a person, followed by working to better understand the challenges they're experiencing in their day-to-day lives.
Overall, my goal is to create a space where you feel safe, heard, and supported as you work through your story. If it sounds like my approach would be a good fit for you, schedule a session with me. I look forward to meeting you!

Anxiety therapy helps people better understand and manage their anxiety. Anxiety therapists at Thriveworks in , MO can develop a treatment plan that will help you better manage your day-to-day anxiety or your anxiety disorder.
Anxiety therapy involves talking to a therapist about symptoms, potential causes, and more. Thriveworks therapists will then work with you to determine where your anxiety might stem from and teach you effective coping mechanisms.
One of the best ways to deal with anxiety is to learn about your own anxiety: your symptoms, what triggers it, and what coping mechanisms have been effective in the past. When you learn what your anxiety is tied to, it can help you be mindful of what’s really happening as well as prevent and mitigate symptoms by processing and working through the issue in therapy. Other strategies that have been shown to help manage anxiety are meditation, challenging anxious thoughts, exercising, and journaling.
Common symptoms of anxiety include:
Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) can be incredibly effective in treating anxiety and anxiety disorders. Other effective techniques include exposure therapy, Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), Acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and EMDR therapy.
Anxiety therapy is conducted both in person and online, depending on the individual’s preferences and their therapist’s availability. We suggest choosing the option that best suits your needs.
On average, people can tend to attend 15 to 20 session of anxiety therapy (five or more months). However, this number is heavily dependent on the type of anxiety that’s being treated and its severity, with many choosing to attend anxiety therapy for a longer period of time to ensure its effectiveness long-term.
Yes, it is worth going to therapy for anxiety. If you are struggling with regular anxious thoughts and feelings that are affecting your day-to-day life or you suspect that you have an anxiety disorder, you should seek expert anxiety help.
