I hold a master’s in clinical mental health counseling from Bay Path University. I integrate acceptance and commitment therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, family systems, and an interpersonal process to offer individualized, culturally responsive, and compassionate care.
I know that no single approach works for everyone, so I show up with curiosity, empathy, and a bit of humor as we get to know one another. As a queer artist, I harness my creativity to serve my clients.
My name is Autumn, and I was a peer support for 10 years before I became a clinician. I received my master's of social work from Salem State University, and I enjoy working with people who are creative and emotional. I have worked with people managing depression, anxiety, ADHD, trauma/PTSD, bipolar, and schizoaffective disorder. I love to see my clients connecting to social supports, exploring their interests, and building relationships.
My primary focus is on client empowerment. This includes helping to identify environmental factors oppressing your growth and healing, how to navigate imperfect systems to meet your needs, and community building—because healing is not individual work. Healing happens with other people, within communities and relationships. Modalities I use include CBT, DBT, ACT, solution-focused brief therapy, mindfulness-based stress reduction, and mindfulness-based cognitive therapy.
I can't wait to find the spark of inspiration that lights you up and helps you feel confident to follow your heart. Even one session might help you begin making amazing changes.
You deserve dedicated time with a mental health professional — it can be life-changing.

The Gottman Method is a commonly-used approach for couples counseling.
Common tools taught in couples counseling include taking time to solve solvable problems, building positive experiences, turning toward each other, and building healthy communication.
Ongoing check-ins, stress scale levels, positive experiences, and frustration scale levels can all measure progress effectively and indicate when positive progress is being made.
Clients can practice healthy communication and build and promote positive experiences together.
Before the first session, clients can identify shared measurable goals and topics to discuss and work towards.
Couples therapy and marriage counseling, also known as relationship counseling, helps couples work through their specific relationship issues. Some examples of common focuses within couples therapy and marriage counseling include:

At Thriveworks, Couples/marriage therapy is led by licensed professionals — often licensed marriage and family therapists (LMFTs) — who are experts in their field and best-equipped to help couples.
The Gottman Method of couples therapy is a research-supported approach designed to enhance relationships by bolstering the bond between partners, resolving conflicts, and fostering shared meaning in their relationship through comprehensive assessments and tailored interventions that improve communication, trust, and the overall health of the partnership.
If you’re facing persistent relationship problems, communication breakdowns, or unresolved conflicts that are impacting your emotional well-being and happiness, Couples/marriage therapy may be beneficial for you.
While marriage and couple’s counseling is typically recommended for couples who are experiencing persistent or severe relationship issues, any relationship can benefit from attending these sessions.
Marriage and couples counseling at Thriveworks is conducted both in person and online by video. We encourage you to choose the option that works best for you and your partner.
On average, couples attend marriage and couples counseling for 12 weeks. However, couples & marriage counseling may last longer or shorter, dependent on the couples’ needs, the challenges they’d like to work through, and the pace of their progress.
